I usually go to HMV since there's no anime specialists or other places with an anime shelf, you could also try fopp or online.

I'm 21, I don't have a credit card either. These things are challenging to get these days, probably due to the recession. Still, I've stuck with trips to HMV for a while, I get fed up with hassling with my bank over slices of plastic.

You ask why there are so many restrictions on slices of plastic...
I'm actually not sure.

Apart from the awkward process of proving who you are that often has to be done using a full (adult) passport or full driving license even if you have loads of other stuff, not to mention proving your address with something from a 'recognised organisation', there seems to be a few reasons for such restrictions.

The age barrier seems to be a consideration of responsibility, albeit silly when you realise some people are really mature at like 14, meanwhile others are not until about 21 or so, there is a very recognised area in age restrictions that carry a number of reasons, mostly to do with being responsible.

There is also the credit rating history (everybody has one), many places check your credit rating before giving you many things like credit cards, phone contracts, mortgages etc, despite that if you've never borrowed (aka never had a credit card) then you have a low rating just in case you won't pay money back, or that's the reason that it seems to be anyway.

There is political reasons too, like a recession for example can make places paranoid about letting people borrow money since there isn't much money going around at the moment and apparently an inflation on the approach.

Then of course there's the da*n stubborn clerk who just won't give you anything for whatever random and probably nonsensical reason occured at the time, they won't even let you use the lavatory.

Note : remember this is a Blood thread, this is just a sidetrack (and a good excuse to have a rant).

Yup, HMV, WHSmith, Wellworths, Tesco, Asda.... loads of places.

Blood the live action movie is out on DVD by the way, it seems to range between about £10 to £14 depending on where you buy it.
